THE POSITION
The Parts Runner is responsible for pulling and delivering parts for the Parts Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent;
A minimum of six (6) months experience in a stock room, preferably in automotive;
Knowledge of mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and application; automotive parts, desired;
Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language;
Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Pulls and delivers parts to the technicians.
Picks-up cores and warranty parts from technicians' stalls.
Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive.
Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to other dealers' or/and guest when needed.
Ensures the golf cart is kept clean.
Helps shipping maintain our tire inventory.
Assists the Service Department move cars when necessary.
Helps shipping and receiving when necessary.
Operates the forklift when necessary.
Helps the inventory control clerk with 7% return, bin checks, etc. when necessary.
Ensures their work areas are kept clean and in order.
Assist the body shop with their orders when necessary
Assist parts department as needed with inventory and stocking.
Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management.
Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
Maintains professional appearance at all times.
Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
$9.75 per hour (May vary based on experience)
