Mortgage Technical Writer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
We should be looking for technical writers or policy documenters with process mapping experience to produce high-quality policy guidelines and process documentation that contributes to the day to day operational management for Client.
Duties
Create, update, and maintain policies and procedures for the mortgage loan operations group, and other groups as assigned. Manage the portfolio of policies and procedures to ensure up-to-date, accurate, and appropriately approved at all times.
Create, draft, update or propose policy guidelines as per the requirements template and in-scope agreed functions or processes
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended audience, a mortgage servicing organization
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 2
years of experience in mortgage lending and/or technical writing
Individual should be knowledgeable in regards to policies, procedures, and standards for a bank, consumer regulations, and mortgage lending.
Experience with mortgage loan processing or underwriting is preferred
Experience with consumer regulations and credit is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills

Experience with Excel and VisioEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
