Some experience preferred.
Job Duties include the following without limitation, to be performed under the supervision of supervising attorneys:
- Drafting forms, basic discovery, routine pleadings, motions; - Drafting correspondence and legal memos; - Electronic filings; - Coordinating service of documents and notices; - Coordinating with clients, witnesses and other parties involved in legal proceedings; - Compiling, preparing, organizing, storing, retrieving, bates stamping documents, exhibits; - Legal research and gather relevant information for cases; and - Calendaring.
Proficiency with the following programs is required:
- Word - Adobe - Excel - Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys reading and writing, takes direction and criticism well, learns quickly, is able to work well independently and in a team, communicates effectively and understands how to prioritize tasks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
