Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the apartment complex, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct property tours and effectively market available units to potential tenants.
- Screen and process rental applications, including conducting background and credit checks.
- Negotiate lease agreements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and meets safety standards.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance activities.
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of property leasing laws and regulations.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to upsell and maximize rental income.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
