8AM - 5PM; 1 hour lunch; OT may apply Job Responsibilities and Duties o Coordinates with the freight forwarders and MTC branches to arrange Wagyu shipment delivery schedules o Organize all documents from Japan to create packing list for LAMTC repack operation o Documents the full cycle of Wagyu operation which includes:
o Sanitation Performance Standards Report o Temperature Accuracy Check Log o In House Validation (Inventory Temperature), o Daily Sanitation o Product Temperature Lot o Set up stock numbers for new items and products o Calculates cost with total weight per item after repack operation o Works with MTC QA and attends USDA inspections and audit to ensure smooth operations o Grade, Repack and Label meat products.
o Work with Product Planning dept for processing of meat products with outside meat repacker.
o Ship, Receive and update meat inventory using MTC computer System as needed.
o Advise on meat products to sales and customers as needed.
o Keep an accurate inventory record of meat products and errors with the warehouse inventory o Attend company events and functions outside of normal working hours.
o Performs other duties as assigned Physical Requirements o Ability to sit in an office setting for the majority of the day o Ability to type for extended periods throughout the day o Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally o Ability to work in freezer section as often as needed o Working Conditions:
o Noise Level:
Normal to loud while in the office o Required to wear company provided freezer jacket while in freezer section (Temperatures between 15- and 40-degrees Fahrenheit) Other Requirements o Business level English - Read/write/speak/listen o Maintain a positive attitude o Ability to work independently and as a team o Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload o High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's Degree in business preferred o 1
years of purchasing experience preferred Knowledge and Skills o Basic mathematical knowledge - markups, discounts, combining/converting measurements, counting inventory, etc.
